According to SNYRangers Blog, The Rangers have come to terms with D Alexei Semenov on a one year contracft worth $600,000 dollars. The 28 year old veteran was at training camp on a tryout basis. He has registered 7 goals and 26 assists in 211 career contests.

Bringing in the 6’6, 235 lb. Semenov gives the Rangers a big body and a veteran presence in the seventh defenseman slot and helps bring experienced depth to a youthful defensive corps.
